about
Andrick Ramirez is a fashion, lifestyle, and nature photographer based in the Bay Area, California. His journey into photography began at the age of ten, when he received his first disposable camera as a birthday gift, a moment that sparked a lifelong fascination with capturing the world through a lens. Born in Santa Clara, California, and raised in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Andrick’s multicultural upbringing deeply influenced his artistic perspective, blending the coastal aesthetic of Mexican culture with the modern urban life in California.
Drawing inspiration from nature and the beauty of humans, his work explores themes of sensitivity, fashion, and emotion through carefully composed visuals. His style is defined by a refined editorial and a conceptual approach to storytelling, often experimenting with lighting, color, and digital manipulation to create dreamlike yet intentional atmospheres.
Through his photography, Andrick seeks to portray a poetic balance between beauty, the natural and the surreal. Each photo serves as a reflection of his curiosity and perspective on the human experience and the environment.

"garden fairy"
In this series of photographs, I explore my vision of a world shaped by fairies, gardens, flowers, and shifting light. A realm where fantasy and reality overlap. I wanted to create something dreamy and otherworldly, a fairytale world that feels both magical and intentional. Each image was carefully staged in a rose garden and edited through a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, allowing me to alter light, color, and adding specific elements to create and match the film-like photography vision I held in my mind.
This is my most articulated and conceptual photography project to date, it has pushed me to translate the vision I see internally into a visual experience that invites viewers to step into another place.
One of my main goals for this project was to challenge the traditional views of beauty. The fantasy aesthetics often relies on super thin bodies, and European standards, but I wanted to expand that idea and create something that feels enchanting and something the public could connect to, without tapping into expectations of a thin, delicate figure. I chose one of my closest friends as the model, someone who transmits confidence and beauty but also embodies my vision and represents the kind of beauty I want to uplift.
